Floral Envelopes! You can easily make these showstoppers with a few supplies: 1️⃣ Gallon Ziploc Bags 2️⃣ Wet Floral Foam 3️⃣ Cardboard Envelopes from Amazon 4️⃣ Three Flower Bouquets . -Saturate the wet foam, -Set the wet foam inside the gallon Ziploc bag. -Open the Amazon cardboard box and fold flaps into a three dimensional envelope. -Ensure the Ziploc bag is tucked into the floral envelope so the plastic does not show out the front of the envelope. -In these examples we purchased three different kinds of flowers, but all in the same hue. -Add your stems into the foam at varying heights, *ProTip- leave some open space in the middle of your arrangement. Using only 2 ingredients from your local Trader Joe’s you can take a Costco wreath and transform it into a dupe for the McGee & Co. Dried White Berry Wreath that retails for $148 1️⃣ Remove the pinecones from the Costco wreath with a pair of wire cutters, and take out the red berry sprigs that were simply stuck into greenery. 2️⃣ Begin weaving 5 inch cuttings of Silverdollar eucalyptus throughout the wreath. You won’t need to attach them with wire the eucalyptus stems are so light and the branches stick well into the dense Pine. 3️⃣ you need 2-3 bunches of white hypericum also known as Saint johns wort berries. Tulips come back every year as Perennials if you don’t cut the flower stem. However, that doesn’t mean they will come back indefinitely. Tulips tend to diminish over time. They don’t naturally multiply like daffodils do, which is why you’ll sometimes see wild daffodils out in the forest or in an area where a garden used to be even though it’s been neglected. But, it’s rare to find tulips where somebody has not been caring for a garden and replenishing the bulbs. Not cutting the flower doesn’t mean that your tulip bulbs will live forever and ever but it gives you better tulips each year to enjoy in your garden landscape. A tulip that has not had the flower cut from it can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years. if you do decide you’d like to enjoy the tulips as cut flowers go ahead and dig up the entire bulb you’ll get a longer stem length that way as well. Plus, you can store them for several weeks with the bulb attached, and the flower will not die as quickly. This is a flower farmer trick that has been used for a really long time!
